The address of this page, Fee-5.com, is taken from Alfred Bester's novel The Computer Connection. Its star, Esther Dyson, is not unlike the character "Fee-5 Grauman's Chinese" in Bester's book. Of course there is an age difference -- Fee-5 was 13 at the time of her first publication, in 1974. Ms. Dyson had a head start on her, having turned 13 on July 14 (Bastille Day), 1964. But they are kindred spirits.
